Seraphour is committed to the preservation and proliferation of the Sacred Canon highlighted by the beauty of the female voice. The vast majority of the ensemble’s repertoire is settings of ancient Latin and Hebrew texts and prayers. With repertoire that spans centuries (from Renaissance to present day), Seraphour’s music highlights a timeless human spirituality. Commissioning and championing the works of living composers and contextualizing them along with established sacred masterworks, Seraphour creates a dialogue between the ancient and the modern – highlighting the transcendent and timeless virtue of beauty.

Through audio and video recording and live performance, Seraphour seeks to inspire audiences toward a deeper connection to the divine. Using the power and beauty of the female voice, Seraphour invites listeners to an encounter with the sacred and sublime.
